2010-2011 Concert Season

Group PhotoWelcome to a new season of music making. We invite you to our Fall/Christmas concert on December 5th, 3pm, at the Eastport United Methodist Church on Bay Ridge Avenue in Eastport (Ample parking WILL be available!)

The program will open with John Rutter’s TE DEUM, followed by Rutter’s popular MAGNIFICAT. This will be performed with organist MaryLu Hartsell, accompanist for the Gaithersburg Chorale and music director at St. John Neumann Parish in Gaithersburg. The second half of the program will feature secular carols of the season, some familiar and some surprises. We will also include a sing-a-long, for all you “shower singers” out there.

Spring 2011

Spring 2011 takes us back to St. Margaret’s EpiscopalChurch (Annapolis). Our first performance there was SO enthusiastically received and well attended – a sold-out house! – that we decided to return for another appearance. This concert is scheduled for Saturday May 7th at 7pm.

Group PhotoThe spring performance is entitled “Movin’ On” and will feature works that highlight modes of transportation – planes, trains, automobiles...youname it! If it’s got momentum and can ‘move’ you, we’ll sing about it! Try to guess which of your favorites will make it on the program.

We’re energized to get back into rehearsals and look forward to having you enjoy the results!
